Hoping (not unrealistically) that tiger lovers will also be interested in a screening of 'Life of Pi', ZSL London Zoo has paired the two together in this alfresco film night. Ang Lee's adaptation of Yann Martel’s 2001 novel features Richard Parker – a Bengal tiger stranded on a boat with the young Pi Patel after a zoo container ship goes down in the Pacific. London Zoo's Tiger Territory, meanwhile, stars Sumatran tigers Jae Jae and Melati. Visitors will get to enjoy both real and virtual tigers as a pre-film twilight tour of the Tiger Territory is followed by a silent movie screening aided by headphones. You'll also get a glass of champagne, though food and drink will be available to buy.
