Doctor Who Tardis

The Met installed this bright blue police call box outside Earl’s Court station in 1996, modelled on the traditional design by architect Gilbert MacKenzie Trench. Nowadays you’ll find the telephone crowded with Dr Who fans. It may not be able to transport you through Time and Relative Dimension in Space, but it does make for a good sci-fi photo op.
