Blue Plaque: Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury, the iconic Queen singer who passed away in 1991, spent his teenage years writing music in Feltham, on the western edge of London. His former family home on Gladstone Avenue is now commemorated with an English Heritage blue plaque. Pre-fame, Mercury lived here on and off between 1964 and 1970.
