Found just 40 minutes from Euston, this is a fascinating day out for the whole family. Bletchley Park, where the World War Two Codebreakers worked, is now a museum. One of the highlights is the D-Day cinematic experience, explaining Bletchley Park’s crucial role in the WW2 operation. The free outdoor walking tour and multi-media guides really add to the experience, immersing you in the atmosphere of all that happened.
The biggest exhibition on site is ‘The Intelligence Factory’, with one of the interactive displays letting you have a go at running Bletchley Park at the height of the operation when there were 9,000 people working there. You're sure to find plenty of things to keep the children entertained, and it's made even better for parents knowing those under 12 go free!
