For a fascinating slice of history, join a tour of this 18-metre-deep bunker, which housed the Fighter Command No 11 Group Operations Room during World War II. Much of the RAF’s strategy during the Battle of Britain was devised here. The plotting room has been left exactly as it was when Winston Churchill visited here in 1940.
