You and a friend could be at the opening evening of Bold Tendencies, the summer pop-up in a multi-storey Peckham car park showcasing one-off art installations and visual art concepts.
Opening on Wednesday May 27, Bold Tendencies in Peckham is now in its 9th year of summer programming with three new visual arts commissions this year including work from celebrated British artist Richard Wentworth, whose perennial subject matter is the city (London, in particular). In addition, Bold Tendencies has commissioned major new site-specific works from acclaimed emerging artists AIRBNB Pavilion and Metahaven, whose work is concerned with how we think, behave, live, work and play as citizens of the 21st century.
At 7pm, we'll be offering an exclusive curator introduction to these new commissions and the unique multi-storey site in Peckham, which includes Franks Café and the newly built Ali Baba Snack Bar, designed by South London Makers and run by South London's own Ali Baba Juice. Winners will also be treated to a special sunset whiskey cocktail specially designed for Time Out readers.
