Born in 1927, Tony DeLap's career has often been a case of right place, right time. The West Coast American artist has contributed to the movements of minimalism, op art and hard edge painting. This exhibition at Edel Assanti focuses on a lesser-known part of his output: works on paper. Although often created independently of his sculptures, the link between the two is easy to spot. Clean lines and geometrical illusions dominate, with an overall looser and more spontaneous feel to his other artworks.
