Tomaso Binga: A Silenced Victory

In 1977, Bianca Menna married Tomaso Binga. The secret of the happy couple? Bianca and Tomaso were in fact the same person. Oh, and the marriage was actually a piece of performance art. Menna created Binga, who appeared in more than one of her artworks, as a way of exploring the sexism of the art industry. This exhibition at Mimosa House gives an overview of Menna's extensive career, including her poetry and immersive installations.
