The Young Dürer: Drawing the Figure

Using his own body Dürer reinvented the study of the human form. Having abandoned his goldsmith apprenticeship in favour of art, the precocious draftsman would go on to become one of the most important Renaissance artists. Featuring outstanding works made during his formative years, this exhibition demonstrates the reforming mind of a young artist.
