Seven leading art colleges in the country nominate six post-graduate students each year for the Red Mansion Art Prize, an award that encourages artistic exchange between China and the UK. Now in its eleventh year, this year’s seven winners will present work that was produced during a month-long residency in China.
Artists include current Caroline Abbotts from the Royal Academy Schools, Ghazaleh Avarzamani from Central Saint Martins, Sung Eun Chin from Goldsmiths, Imran Perretta from Slade School of Fine Art, Tom Railton from Chelsea College of Art, Jakob Rowlinson from The Ruskin School of Art and Abigail Sidebotham from the Royal College of Art.
