When the eminent photographic couple Bernd and Hilla Becher taught at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, they inspired the next generation of important German photographer’s including Andreas Gursky, Thomas Struth, Candida Höfer, Axel Hütte and Thomas Ruff.
