The Discovery of Paris: Watercolours by Early Nineteenth-Century British Artists

Focusing on the period between 1802-40, a rich array of watercolours, preparatory drawings and associated prints encapsulate the iconography of Paris. Included are outstanding works by Turner, Girtin and Bonington, alongside the less familiar Francis Danby and William Callow among others.
