Screened for a period of three weeks each, the films of Fatma Bucak and Rä di Martino respond to the themes in each others work. Bucak presents ‘Suggested place for you to see it’ first (until Apr 3) which turns the camera onto an audience of Turkish-Kurdish women as they watch Bucak and her brother’s performance on a salt lake in Ankara. Here, the spectators and their subsequent comments on the performance become the subject, while in di Martino’s 'August 2008' two actors in fixed positions sing newspaper headlines creating an uneasy tension between their actions and proclamations.
