Sophie Lee: Sugars, Protein and Salt (Perfect Fried 1)

With this two-part video work, in which individual parts are shown simultaneously at IMT Gallery and Gowlett Peaks while crossing over into each other, Lee incorporates elements of video, animation, text and sound. This unusual work examines the histories of language, rubbish and waste, chemical reactions, as well as the body and a gastric perspective of knowledge.
