Sol Calero: La Escuela del Sur

Considering how cultural representation and national identity is constructed through social space, the Venezuelan artist will fabricate a large-scale architectural installation that takes the guise of a Caribbean style school. In keeping with previous projects that have explored the culture of Latin American hair salons where you could learn to Salsa, Calero will present a series of classes and workshops in the installation with local groups.
