Simon Dybbroe Møller: Swallow Swallow Spit

Cement figures caught in mid action, recline on the gallery floor casting similar positions to the volcanized bodies found at Pompeii, yet here the German artist has his figures holding sports equipment, clinging onto skis and baseball bats. These relics of a 21st century are looked over by plates of half finished food hung on the gallery walls, the remnants of a feast that we weren’t invited to.
