For the final Sculpture Shock award presentation, Finnish artist Hanna Haaslahti will reveal the culmination of her three-month RBS studio residency with an interactive intervention in the Ionic Temple of Chiswick House, which is usually closed to the public. Haaslahti uses the temple’s neo-Palladian architecture and the surrounding landscaped gardens to upset many of the stylistic intentions of the original designers, Lord Burlington and William Kent, to question the permanence of history.
