Richard Jackson: New Paintings

The LA-based artist continues to push the boundaries of painting with his satirical and overtly humorous installations. The seventy four-year old has been influenced by Abstract Expressionism throughout his career, seeking to reimagine what painting can be through sculpture, machines and installations. For Jackson, paint is used as a tool to subvert everyday scenarios, to challenge our perceptions.
