Coinciding with the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo, Dulwich Picture Gallery present this exhibition of delightful drawings by the French romantic and neo-classical artist. Having trained in France and Italy, it was when Prud’hon returned to Paris producing works for societies elite that he caught the eye of the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. Unlike other artists of the time, Prud-hon sketched directly from live models, a grouping of which forms the central focus of the show.
