These disconcertingly simple paintings by Nate Lowman are based on the crime scene photos from the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. The gunman attacked people attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival, killing 59 people. Lowman's images capture the disjuncture between the recognisably normal scenes and the violence slicing through them.
