Marcus Coates

The British artist presents his new film ‘A Question of Movement’ commissioned by Siobhan Davies Dance in collaboration with dance artist Henry Montes. Continually adapting his practice with different artistic approaches, Coates has previously acted as a conduit between the human and animal worlds in his film work and most recently took part in Doug Aitken's Station to Station project at the Barbican, creating paintings in response to questions posed to him by the general public.
