Oscar Wilde used to frequent Ely House when it was the Albemarle Club. Designed by neo-classical architect Robert Taylor, this townhouse, now a Grade 1 listed building, was built in 1770 as the London Palace for the Bishop of Ely. After more than a 100 years on Bond Street, Mallet Antinques took up residence at Ely House in 2012.
