Made in Bow

The Bow Porcelain Factory produced figurines immitating Asian designs between 1747-1764 and was significant in the development of ceramics arts. The London Borough of Newham owns a small collection of these rarely seen pieces, which are presented in this exhibition with responses by contemporary artists. Nothing like the immitated being immitated.
