Take a trip to the vaults beneath Waterloo Station for five environments by public artist Martin Firrell. Each pitch-black space is dominated by a word or phrase. Firrell's mission: to suggest a viable strategy for living peaceably. He's drawn inspiration from the new 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' movie, saying 'I have long been interested in popular culture as potent carrier of important ideas about how to live more humanely. In the case of Apes, what does the idea of human servitude – the human in crisis – tell us about the kind of animal we are'. Please note: the exhibition is unsuitable for children under 12.
