Holly Hendry: More and more, more is more

3 out of 5 stars
Alluding to weightless inflated forms, Hendry’s sculptures play a tug of war between heavy and light, solid and formless.

Time Out says

A giant sculpted hand pointing downwards looms comically above Holly Hendry’s sculptures, like one of Terry Gilliam’s hilarious Monty Python illustrations. Fortunately, you aren’t going to be squished, but you’ll have to mind your step as there are plenty of things to bump into. Alluding to weightless, inflated forms, Hendry’s sculptures invade the space, slumping over metal supports, balancing on top of wooden frames and squeezing out from between the ceiling beams. You’ll leave more attuned to your surroundings and possibly with ‘And now for something completely different…’ ringing in your ears.
