Time Out says

Celebrating its 175th anniversary, Heatherley’s, the first art school to admit women as equals to men present a collection of fascinating photographs from their archive. Founded in 1845 and boasting John Everett Millais, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Walter Sickert among its alumni, Heatherley School of Fine Art continues to teach traditional techniques of art practice. Here, the display of charming black-and-white photographs uncovers an art school of old centred around the life model class, often taking place outside on the school's roof.
