Hannah Starkey

For nearly 20 years, Starkey has explored the representation of women in her photographic portraits. For her latest solo show at Maureen Paley, she presents a series of documentary-styled work that focuses on women in street scenes and the urban environment that could be considered reflective of the flâneuses role, a female flâneur, in modern society.
