Bored of looking at blank white walls in your home? Get yourself down to The Other Art Fair, where you’ll find creative and inspiring art from some of the most exciting emerging artists right now. Even better, you’ll actually get to meet and chat with the artists, so you can find out exactly what the artworks that you’re drawn to are all about.

From June 29 – July 2, The Other Art Fair (presented by Saatchi Art) will be setting up shop at West Handyside Canopy in King’s Cross, bringing with it 100 different artists and their work. And if you’re worried that art fairs aren’t for you, don’t panic – The Other Art Fair does things a bit differently. The event isn’t about knowing who’s who in the art world or being able to reel off an in-depth history of art through the ages. Instead, The Other Art Fair aims to be super inclusive. If you’re in the market for some new artwork, there’s something for any budget, with prices starting from £100. And if you just want to mooch around and explore, that’s fine too – everyone is welcome.

There’s so much to explore at The Other Art Fair, but here’s a taster of the artists who will be part of the event. Look out for Phoebe Power’s works that capture raw emotion through an exploration of life experiences and mental health, abstract artist Charlie French, who embraces imaginative freedom, and ceramic visual artist Yurim Gough – originally from Korea – who combines the tradition of ceramics with her background in fashion to create beautiful ceramic bowls. Plus Rosie Taylor, an intricate tapestry specialist, the award-winning Redbellyboy whose screen prints draw inspiration from pop culture, and Tabitha Millett, a Cambridge-based artist exploring agency, simplicity and texture through her paintings.
You can also get lost in immersive installations, get a hand-poked tattoo on-site, and dance to live DJ sets, with a fully stocked bar to see you through. Visit the Fair Guide for more details.

Advance tickets are £12, concession tickets are £9 (plus booking fee and VAT), and you can book them on The Other Art Fair website. Kids under 12 years old go free. Plus, if you book now you can get an extra 25 per cent off using the code TIMEOUT25 at the checkout. This is applicable to Friday, Saturday and Sunday only and excludes opening night on June 29. But act fast, it expires June 25 at 11.59pm.
Whether you’re looking for a conversation-starting artwork to hang in your home, or you just want to get to know more about some exciting emerging artists, The Other Art Fair has you covered.
