Punk and lo-fi aesthetics come to the fore in this exhibition of work by New York artist Gary Simmons. Composed in layers of ripped and fragmented images – reminiscent of gig posters fly-posted on walls – Simmons’s garish paintings deal with issues of politics and race on both sides of the Atlantic. On display alongside the paintings will be three speaker sculptures made from wood found in the post-Hurricane Katrina wreckage of New Orleans
