There may not be any of Richard Dadd's famous fairy paintings on display but, alongside sketchbooks and letters, there are enough translucent and sensitive watercolours and sketches – plus a series of images of stylised figures painted on glass panels, perhaps produced to decorate one of the communal rooms at Broadmoor – to demonstrate his undoubted talent.
