En Plein Air

Ah the great outdoors! Dragging an easel, paintbrush and even a model or two outside to paint them became a particularly popular past time with 19th century French painters (probably helped by the temperate climate in France). This group show displays contemporary artists keeping the traditional alive, all in their own unique way (up to and including switching Monet's waterlilies for Batman).
