With a focus on all forms of international contemporary drawing, The Drawing Room supports solo and group exhibitions by established, emerging and historical artists. Since the gallery's inception in 2002 artists who have worked with the space include Fiona Banner, Adam Dant, Charles Avery, Olivia Plender and Mark Wallinger, many of whom have also donated works to the Drawing Room's popular biennial fundraiser where original, A4 size works-on-paper by major names can be snapped up for a few hundred pounds. Originally a pioneer of the East End art scene around Hackney the gallery moved South in 2011, where it's established a similar position among the growing gallery enclave around Bermondsey.
