Doug Fishbone: Elmina & Untitled

Fishbone exhibits his latest feature length film in which he casts himself (a white, Jewish American) as the film’s lead. The rest of the cast is African and the film is shot entirely in Ghana. In this way the artist tackles issue of race and culture, also the idea of what is acceptable in cinema. His past work has been reliant on humour and satire and his most recent piece is no different.
