BMW Tate Live: Liu Ding

The Beijing artist and curator, Lui Ding, will party alongside friends and colleagues to a soundtrack of Chinese voices and a DJ playing Baroque music in 'Almost Avant-Garde'. In the midst of 2-D recreations of Tate artworks, Ding uses the Tate Live Performance Room to reflect on the way that the Chinese art community strives to be modern and contemporary. Beneath a disco ball, translations will be projected onto the wall and the performance can also be watched online via the Tate’s YouTube channel.
