Reckon you can spot the next David Hockney or Paula Rego, Gillian Wearing or Anish Kapoor? They're all New Contemporaries alumni. The showcase of work by recent art school grads has been an annual event since 1949; the 47 on display here have been selected by artists Caroline Achaintre, Elizabeth Price and George Shaw. The show opened at Baltic in Gateshead for the first time this year, and now arrives in London; it'll inevitably be a bit of a mixed bag, but also offers a chance to sniff out new, raw talent. This year, expect lots of film, and lots of work tackling the immigration, class and ethnicity.
