Behind, A Camera in Front, A Hawza

Photojournalist Massimiliano Fusari's works offer an insight into the world of the personal and social space of the Muslim Shi'a seminaries known as Hawza. Taken in Syria and Bahrain in 2010, the images are Fusari's attempt at an interpretive path, rather than a definitive statement, one that contextualises the spaces spiritually and socially.
