Banu Cennetoğlu

The exhibition hall of Chisenhale Gallery gets converted into a moving image exhibition by Banu Cennetoğlu, an Istanbul-based artist interested in memory, archive and the sharing of information. Fiercely political and contemporary,Cennetoğlu's ongoing project The List is also being brought to Britain for the first time. The List catalogues 33,000 refugees and migrants who have died in, or on the borders, of Europe since 1993.
