What connects all of the works in this show is a distinct lack of colour. As you might expect from the exhibition title, the various pieces presented are black and white. From an abstract stencil by Andy Warhol, Mai-Thu Perret’s minimal balls to conceptual experimentations from Susan Hiller and the figurative sculpture of Kiki Smith, the diverse works give a colourful edge to the monochrome theme.
Other artists include: Vija Celmins, Adam Fuss, Philip Guston, Hans Hartung, Josephine Meckseper and Sean Scully.
