In the late 1980s, DC comics sought to align the complex storylines of multiple superheroes so the various realities became one cohesive entity. In response, the comic stripe ‘Zenith’ was created by Grant Morrison and Steve Yeowell, where numerous superheroes meet on planet Alternative 23 to defend the existence of multiplicities. These significant events in graphic novel history inform the work in this group exhibition that features David Blandy & Daniel Locke, Laura Oldfield Ford and Plastique Fantastique.
