Alexander James: Intersection

Referencing the Vanitas paintings of seventeenth and eighteenth century Dutch Masters, artist Alexander James bring together elements of several of his previous series, Vanitas, Swarm and Glass, for this new body of work, in which he's combined specimens from nature and handmade props in tanks of water to create installations that he then photographs.
