Alex Clarke: Figurative

These abstract works by the recent Royal Academy Schools graduate examine the fundamental emotions and aspirations experienced by an individual when in the process of painting. Collectively they form a dialogue of ideas and interesting connections, and draw attention less to what has been painted and instead towards the figurative practice behind their creation.
