'Rocky IV' stands head and shoulders above nearly any other movie – when it comes to film montages, that is. The training montage that shows Sylvester Stallone struggling through the snow while that stacked Russian dude is hooked up to loads of computers – it's one of cinema's greatest moments.
The crew at Montage! Live! clearly agree, as they're basing an enture evening around the film and its array of brilliant montages, but with a neat twist: on the night, the montage scenes will all be soundtracked by a live band, meaning that you can hear classic tracks from the film, including 'Eye of the Tiger', 'No Easy Way Out', 'Living in America' and 'Hearts on Fire', played in the flesh.
A word from the organisers: "Fancy dress is optional, but we'll all be dressed like twats". Thus, if you do want to sport a mullet or your gym kit, you'll fit right in. An unashmedly silly and brilliantly fun night. Plus, it's a charity event, with proceeds going directly to blood cancer charity the Anthony Nolan Trust, so you've got even more reason to get your motage on.
