If Marechal Carmona Park is one of the green lungs of Cascais, then Palmela is the other. Built in 1870 by the Dukes of Palmela, it includes a popular treetop path, fit for people of all ages - to learn more, check the website of the company in charge, Pedaços de Aventura (www.pedaçosdeaventura.com/ home). There’s a concert hall, the Fernando Lopes-Graça Auditorium, a legacy from the days when the Duchess of Palmela hosted grand parties. The park also has a hiking path.
