Bookshop Bivar is dedicated to English books, complete with a sofa where you can sit and read for a while. There’s something for everyone, from light beach reads to biographies and travel guides. Heavily damaged second-hand books are sold for €1, but most books aren’t priced, so nearly everything is negotiable, especially if you’re buying several. The shop serves as a cultural hub for English speakers.
