Holes: 18
Par: 71
Built in the 1980s by celebrated architect Robert Trent Jones, this course is well embedded into nature. It is 5870 metres long, with views of the ocean and the Sintra mountain range. The course is diverse and technically demanding, requiring the use of various clubs. Some of its holes are legendary, such as the 3 (par 4), with a view of the Atlantic Ocean, and the 18 (par 5), with two ponds, requiring top accuracy.
For refuelling: The Trent Jones bar, with a view of the green and the swimming pool, is the right spot for a post-match drink or for a light meal of Portuguese food.
