Time Out says

Queijaria do Monte offers over 60 types of cheese, the majority sourced from abroad, making it a must-visit for cheese enthusiasts. Born from a common modern-day dream of starting fresh, the shop leaves no doubt about its focus as you approach: the aroma of cheese fills the air. Inside, shelves stocked with wine, olive oil, and crackers provide perfect pairings for the main attraction—cheese. The spotlight, however, is on the two display cases brimming with cheeses of every size, colour, and shape, flanked by a table where they’re weighed, sliced, and sampled. Some cheeses are neatly packaged, others are so hefty they’re hard to lift. While some vanish quickly, others just need a glance to tempt buyers. Every cheese sold by weight and cut in-store is available for tasting (pre-packaged cheeses are not). For those who prefer to savour their cheese on the spot, outdoor tables invite you to enjoy a personalised cheese board or recommendations from the staff, complemented by charcuterie and wine. You can even purchase a whole cheese, have part of it served fresh on a board, and take the rest home. It’s all tailored to your taste.
