Amoreiras Shopping Center

Architect Tomás Taveira based the postmodernist design for Portugal's first shopping centre on the Brazilian concept of many small entrances making it easy to get in. A maze-like layout and poor signage means it can be rather more tricky to find your way back out, though. Expect the usual selection of local and international chains, a supermarket, a multiplex and a chapel.
