If we had to recommend a single neighbourhood for shopping, we'd choose Príncipe Real, where you can spend hours in Alexandra Moura's store alone. As well as clothing by the eponymous designer, it stocks a selection of pieces by other Portuguese designers. Go through the store to the inner patio – painted in lilac and with a bougainvillea in the middle – to browse among the vinyl, ceramic pieces, jewellery and books.
