The Bica area restaurant scene has improved but you still count in one hand the number of worthy dining locations. One of them is Toma Lá Dá Cá. It is always full, the staff isn't the friendliest in town (it's because they're always in a hurry) but it is a great spot for good traditional food. That goes both for several beef dishes – such as entrecôte on a board, cordon bleu or tornedo au champignon – and for the grilled fish specials.
Time Out tips:
– Just like the beef, the chips are also excellent.
– The service is so quick that you should get a beer while waiting for a table.
– Desserts are homemade and honest.
