Povo

Povo took a breath of fresh air. It’s still a somewhat chill fado house, with some of the same appetizers too, but some dishes were left behind. Now, there are roe sandwiches, Porto-style bifanas, Monte da Vinha cheese or charcuterie dishes, as well as small snacks, available at all times. There’s also a surprising cured fish roe (don’t knock it before you try it), a tongue xerém or a lamb kebab with pumpkin sauté. On Saturday afternoons are for “TACHADAS”, a space for sharing where everything, from musical interventions to dominoes tournaments, will take place.
